Dear Class of 2016
We are Ms. D & Mrs. A. Moore-Webb and you are enrolled in my Senior Literature class this year. I am looking forward to an exciting and transformational year. It is our goal to provide all students with an educationally challenging, yet fun, experience in our classroom. Additionally, we look forward to learning from and getting to know each of you. We honestly believe that it is no mistake you have been placed in out class. It is a bit of destiny, that we hope we take full advantage of.

World and Multicultural Literature are fun and interesting, yet very demanding courses. We will cover a plethora of literature (fictional and nonfictional). We will engage in intellectual discourse covering a variety of topics. We will view informational videos that help to enhance our studies. There will be homework assignments almost daily. Each student will need a five subject notebook blue or black pens and pencils, and paper. These materials should be brought to class every day. I will not have materials to share with senior students. We cover a lot of material in one class period so locker passes will not be issued.
Your syllabus is attached to this blog. We suggest you go home and read it. If you have any questions regarding the syllabus or the course, please contact either one of us.
We have extremely high expectations of all our students, and for that we will not apologize. You are at a very vital point in your life. This year will determine a lot in reference to the rest of your life. We are here to help guide that transition. We have high hopes for you. We are anticipating you will rise to those expectations by ensuring that your work is being done and you are doing your part. Life will not wait for you to get ready, so be ready, NOW! We are available to help students individually during our planning periods, and after school. If you or your parents have any questions for us, email is the fastest and most effective form of communication. Please take advantage of that.
Thank you,
Ms. D. Mrs. A. Moore-Webb
